1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them and even managed to drive across thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.
Before each mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills the water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ based on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. To do this, you'll need to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to avoid it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. But, overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combinations which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an efficient solution for cleaning. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a number unique features, including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. This makes it a top contender on our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It comes with a smart application that lets you schedule cleaning and set the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa capacity to take on pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't show any problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't pick up cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that helps it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums are unable to. The device also stores dust in a larger dustbin which means you need to empty it less often. It also has washable filters, which reduces the cost.
